Here are some of my other areas of interest that add to my passion for teaching:
I was a historical bike tour guide for the city of Fredericton. In both french and english I would educate tourists about the Bill Thorpe walking bridge and take them to the St. Mary's Cottonmill.
I thoroughly enjoy playing music. I took piano lessons for 5 years when I was young and now mostly play guitar in my spare time.
I am a potter. While attending the NB Craft College I would sell "Love Mugs" at the local Cedar Tree Cafe. Half of the proceeds would be donated to the local food bank.
During my undergrad I did a lot of volunteering. Here I am in Georgia helping build with Habitat for Humanity.
At the end of my undergrad I decided to treat myself to a Dolphin Field Ecology course offered out of UNBSJ. This brought us to Bimini to document dolphin behaviour. Fascinating!
Again, music is a big part of my life and I enjoy playing guitar in my past time.
I am grateful everyday to be a mother and am so blessed to have such a special daughter.
